Covers, B-Sides, and Rarities: Dirty Mitten's "White Winter Hymnal"

I’m slowly, but surely giving in to the wondrous spectacles bounded by the Fleet Foxes self-titled debut. What can I say, time makes the heart grow fonder. Dirty Mittens are a pop troupe from Portland, Oregon, and here is their version of one of the standout tracks in said album. They offer a refreshing change to the already overly-rated, overly-listened to, overly-repeated song of the year, which I must admit, the original is in desperate need of. The band substitutes main male vocals for female, whilst the pristine harmonies which follow suit are replaced by a brass section that takes center stage.

You’d think you’d hate it after it going through all that transformation, but no, it still sounds good as new:
