Covers, B-sides, and Rarities: Dr Dog's "Heart It Races"

Dr Dog couldn’t have pulled off a better job for this cover of Australian’s Architecture In Helsinki’s ‘Heart It Races’. This is ‘Heart It Races’ minus all the clamoring instruments and tribal chants, all thrown in together into a toy chest, producing the song in the version as we know it. For those who weren’t initially bought into the original version, there’s a higher chance that you’ll definitely warm up to this rendition more.

Dr Dog was able to create a more accessible version of ‘Heart It Races’, bringing into focus the natural curves and rhythms of the tune which was previously camouflaged by disorderly sounds of cacophonic instruments-- a great cover that’s done a great justice to the original.
