The most dreaded part of the vicious cycle has finally arrived; the semester is almost coming to its end, and as always, another set of torturous, final exams must be faced with prior to blissful freedom. You’ll probably listen to me talking about final exams for at least another 3-4 times, and I know that it’s sickening to listen to, because I’ll make sure of it but you’ll just have to bear with me.I miss sitting down through a given 100 mp3s and just do a listen-through of each and everyone of them, while jotting down notes: hate it, love it, might consider it. It’s a nice feeling to come across a new band with a great new song, and going through the whole exhilarating process of discovering them. Since these couple of weeks however, I don’t seem to have that much time to do it anymore, so, I’m really looking forward to the end of the finals where I can resume that old time practice.
Exams officially start today, so wish me luck because I’ll be needing lots of it. Once you’ve closed that answer booklet, that’s it, you’re done, there’s no looking back-- wow, I really am doomed.
As irrelevant as it may be though, I like how this song helps me see the brighter side of things.
