Travis might just be my second most favorite band on the planet (including some other bands that I’ve also said the same thing about). Their music is mellow, soothing Britpop tunes which I’m lying if I say I’m not a big fan of. They’re the only band that doesn’t get enough airtime on radios (as they should) here in Malaysia, but I’m still able to keep up with.And yet they never fail to produce a record that I won’t think twice of…..getting. Getting is a much, much safer word than the word downl…. ANYHOW, they’ve just released a new album, The Boy with No Name earlier this month and I’ve only got the chance to hear a couple of the songs from the new record. You could, on the other hand, stream the whole album at their MySpace site if you love them so much. If you want something you can listen to on the go, here are two songs for you, including ‘Closer’ which I’m sure, everyone is familiar with.
