Japan Air

Check out this brilliant band from Sweden called Japan Air. I’ve been having them on heavy rotation for weeks on end; they really do create songs that generate such delightful listening. These are jangly indie pop that thrives in all its simplicity. In addition to that, the three piece seems to have thrown a bit of a shoegaze feel into the mix which is bloody marvelous and always an added bonus for any band to me. The band excels in instrumental surf-pop as well, having embarked on their music venture through this method of music-making initially. Being evenly coated with a lightweight, lo-fi treatment, provides these songs with minimal touches that makes it feel warm and comfortable. A recommended listen.
